The location is wonderful, located in the centre of the old city. around 3 minutes walk from 2nd St. Metro station. ,and multiple bus stops around if you fancy to explore the city with public transportation. The building was built in 1856 and listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, but the interior is not ancient at all, the decoration is elegant and well feature, there's a fireplace in the lobby, and cozy common lobby area. The elevator is small but function well, and there's a 24/7 coffee/tea machine located in lobby. 4pm-6pm with complimentary biscuits. The room is in a great size, double bed comfortable, bathroom is nice, water pressure is okay consider the old building structure. nice and soft towels, toiletries are nice but a bit small size. high ceiling, nice safe. The hotel breakfast is basic, the best part is the breakfast area, is very unique. and there's water fountain located in the same floor (floor A by elevator ) The hotel basically can be described '' with taste''. p.s. The sound proof is okay, if really a light sleeper, can prepare your own ear plugs.

We had a great experience at this hotel, which is within walking distance of all the historical attractions and the subway line. For example, the Museum of the American Revolution is across the street from the hotel. The check-in/check-out experience was smooth, the staff were quite friendly, and the rooms were comfortable (although on the smaller side). We also enjoyed the continental breakfast, which had the usual items (e.g., cereal, yogurt, toast) plus scrambled eggs, french toast, and bacon. The hot meal was the best part, and it seemed very fresh (which is not always the case at other hotels!). The hotel room was quiet and included a Keurig, mini fridge, and a safe in the closet.

Rooms were small but very well appointed and comfortable. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room was fabulous, along with the facilities which were available in the lobby. Breakfast was a bonus, along with cookies in the afternoon. Then there was the wine, cheese and fruit platter on Wednesday evening. Hotel is immaculately presented and the cleanest we have stayed in and staff very friendly and accommodating. Close to Liberty Bell and other attractions. Bus stop for Phlash bus, which drops off at most major attractions, was adjacent to the hotel.

The location was perfect, the parking was a block further than the motel, and the staff was super friendly. The one thing that I did not like was how small the rooms were. It was barely enough room for two people. I couldn’t lay my clothes out and take pictures because the room was really tight. We were on top of each other. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay just for overnight this is a really good location. The bathroom was super clean and updated which was a plus.Food and museums right outside. I will return for a quick overnight visit.

The facility is beautiful and charming. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating, especially Shana at the front desk. Breakfast was delicious, well stocked, and staff cleaned up messes immediately. Parking was additiinal around the corner but close by. We went to a concert at the Fillmore and stayed the night, but all the museums and historical sights were within walking distance. Plenty of food place also within walking distance as well. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!
